My Card Collection

In this article we will look at some of the different baseball cards in my collection.

The reason I am sharing some of my collection with you is because when I was a kid I used to go around and collect beer bottles late at night. I would have a shopping cart and go from trash can to trash can collecting 5 cent coke bottles. I would take all the bottles to the store and recycle them, with the money I earned I would go buy baseball cards. I was always trying to get the 1992 Stadium club card for Shaq. At the time it was a $40 dollar card, however, trying to get this card meant everything for me. The first time I started collecting cards was back when I lived in Germany and they won the world cup in 1990, everything shut down for a week.

In 1991 Bruce McNall and Wayne Gretzky bought a Honus Wagner T206 card for $451 thousand is now worth $7.5 million today.

There is another reason I am showing you this collection, and that is because it is important to have a hobby that brings out the childlike side of you in life. When I hold this card I go straight back to being the 12 year old that wanted to collect cards.
